Nakhda Brio Straight Egyptian Arabian stallion pedigree

Nakhda Brio, 15.2HH Straight Egyptian Arabian Gelding. He is not standing as a stallion, he was gelded in 2018. Now owned by Tara LeRoy.

A true, royal Straight Egyptian Arabian, Nakhda Brio, has large, expressive eyes that are wide set on a beautifully dished face that tapers down to a refined muzzle; he displays a flat croup and the fluid, natural action, perfectly suited to Dressage. Judges have lauded his strong hindquarters and powerful impulsion, which have resulted in top ribbons as a sport-horse.

As a three-year-old Brio was the 2015 WAHA Reserve Champion Arabian Stallion at Halter. As a yearling he was the Region 10 Champion Yearling Sport Horse in Hand and Region 10 Top Five Arabian Stallion Sport Horse in Hand against mature stallions.

Nakhda Brio is an Al Khamsa Arabian

Tail Male: Saklawi I (APS)
Tail Female: Rodania (BLT)

Nakhda Brio’s dam line goes to the desert bred mare Rodania, and thus is the classic tail female strain Kuhaylan Rodania  – considered the original, “the ancient” Arabian desert horse and  tracing back to the Bint Rissala branch through the mare Kateefa (by Shahloul), dam of Alaa El Din, sired by *Nazeer.  Rodania is an extremely vital mare in straight Egyptian breeding. Some of the greatest Straight Egyptian horses of all time including Alaa el Din, *Serenity Sonbolah, Al Adeed Al Shaqab, and Imperial Imdal are just a few examples of horses that carry the influence of Rodania in their pedigree.

Asfour who is the double-grand-father of Brio – probably one of the most distinguished stallions in the breed. This alone situates Brio in a unique breeding group and presents a remarkable alternative for a serious breeder.  Read an article about Asfour >>article-pdf
